The Association’s Annual Function 2025 was held on Saturday 25 October 2025 at the Council Chamber, Civic Place, Liverpool, under the theme Cyber Security & Risks to Engineering Sectors.
Guests of honour for the evening were His Excellency Mr Irfan Shaukat, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Australia, and Ms Julia Finn MP, joined by industry experts. Discussions explored cybersecurity and the emerging risks facing the engineering profession, and the Association’s awards for Innovation, Lifetime Achievement, Excellence and Service celebrated engineers and entrepreneurs whose work is raising standards and opening new pathways for the next generation.
The function was later recognised in the Parliament of New South Wales through a Community Recognition Statement by Mr Nathan Hagarty MP, State Member for Leppington, who attended the evening.
