The community celebrated Pakistan Independence Day at Azadi Mela 2026, held on Sunday 16 August 2026 at Fairfield Showground, Prairiewood — a free, family-friendly mela with live performances, food stalls, kids’ activities, market stalls and community fun for all.
The Association was proud to support the Mela, with President Insaf Ali Khan among its supporters. Azadi Mela is organised from the community, for the community, bringing overseas Pakistanis together with all communities here in Australia.
